No. When you complete the form for a Transfer Waitlist Response, you’ll be able to indicate that you wish to be added to the Transfer Wait List.

Why are only students in their sophomore year considered potential candidates for the selection for the Spring (January) 2022 choice?
Moved to Georgetown University. The format has been in use since Georgetown requires four full semesters of studies for students at Georgetown for students in the program as transfer students. A max of sixty minutes (four semesters) can transfer to Georgetown University.

The “rising sophomores” students finish the fall 2021 semester at another college and come to Georgetown in January 2022. They will be able to complete their four semesters of coursework without taking another semester.
Students in their sophomore year can complete their graduation requirements within five semesters at Georgetown.

Suppose I’m an incoming sophomore and want to apply for admission to the Spring (January) 2023 admissions. What should I do during this fall semester of 2022?

Students that have indicated an interest in applying for the Spring 2022 admission and have been admitted for the Spring 2022 semester and accept their Spring 2022 admission are advised to stay at their current institution for the fall semester of 2021.
Students who have been offered the opportunity to enroll in the Spring 2022 semester will receive advice on the course they will choose for Fall 2021 from Their Dean from Georgetown to ensure adequate transmission of credit.
Similar to the previous mention, the students selected for Spring 2022 will be given an initial assessment of their transfer credits before depositing their enrollment.
Students enrolling at Georgetown in Spring (January) 2022 may also use their Fall 2021 semester to secure a full-time internship or pursue other worthwhile educationally-enriching experiences.

How can my classes be assessed to determine whether they’re creditable?

The applicant will be presented with an assessment of the transfer credit dependent on the class’s name. Course and the expected Georgetown equivalent.
To verify your credit, the dean will need an overview of your course in each class to be reviewed.
